Against BC? We saved all starters with Joe Allen pitching vs VT. And won comfortably, so the bullpen is good.

It matters who starts, but the way we’re hitting, Bakich really could throw anyone out there.

You really could throw Grice tomorrow because of it being an elimination game. Because if you cut him off at 50 or so, he may be able to go against Wake if we got to the championship.

Gorden is probably the most likely in my opinion. He pitched very well versus BC a few weeks ago, and lets you keep Grice’s arm rested.

It’ll be a tough decision, but I expect a lot of runs regardless. Go tigers.

I think you have to go Grice. He pitched 8 solid innings against BC earlier this year and this is a win or go home game. Put it on him and let's let the next round take care of itself.

I go with Darden. He has been the Friday starter for most of the year. Then we have Grice for UNC. Or, possibly go with Gordon and save Grice for the big one. I don't recall losing with any of our starting pitchers for several weeks. 🤣

Elimination games you go with your best pitcher. You can't assume the bats will stay hot. You don't want to go home and your best pitcher didn't pitch.

Doesn’t Bakich start Grice on Sundays because otherwise they would rest him completely the next day? We can’t afford to lose Grice from the lineup if we advance. I say Gordon starts with the potential to see Grice for limited pitches if the situation warrants.

Well, you could just say it ain’t broke, but realistically, this is the opportune time to move Gordon and grice ahead of Darden because of the Thursday through Saturday series last week. Not to mention Austin Gordon pitched his ### off against Boston College but we got 2 hit that game and lost which was actually our last loss.
