Maybe you should read that we were missing 2 DBs and then lost another and maybe you should look up where La. Tech was ranking in passing offense and you could have answered your own question.

Ole Valley has no clue what he’s talking about. The db’s have been playing farther off the first 3 games. I doubt Mike Reed forgot how to coach in the off season, so more likely a scheme change associated with Goodwin

Only one reason you play off the LOS. Lack of confidence and afraid of getting burnt.
That normally will get better with more experience.
On a side not Valley has always seemed “super friendly.” A few more on here that seems to be happy about life.
Just answer the thread without making someone look stupid or don’t comment.
Have SC acquaintances that are friendlier than some of the so called Clemson fans that frequent this board.

We saw less press man against La Tech because of their style of play, and

obviously due to the fact we had guys with their first starting reps having to play Saturday. Even still, we played a mix of man and zone, and even mixed coverages during any given play.
Maybe a little more zone on Saturday, but we haven't changed our scheme.
There were some cases where guys were open, but overall we ran more zone because almost 75% of what La Tech does is throw the ball on short passes.
