The best starting receiver on this years team isn't as good as the worst on any of these teams...
2015: Renfrow, Scott, Peak
2016: Renfrow, Scott, Williams
2017: Renfrow, McCloud, Cain
2018: Renfrow, Rogers, Higgins
2019: Rogers, Ross, Higgins
2023: Randall, Collins, Williams
Every one of these guys played in the NFL. Do we have a single NFL receiver on this team? I really hope these guys can step up and prove everyone wrong. I'm not sure the expectations were realistic for this offense.
Honestly, I was more disappointed in the lack of dominance by the defense than anything else. That was a known strength coming back and they looked bad at times Monday night.

Renfrow as the worst receiver on any team outside of maybe 2015 is a stretch, but your point is true

it was not my intent to imply who the worst or best receiver was in each of those years. Just listing the starters in no particular order.

Oh, I see. My fault for misunderstanding. Thought you were listing the worst receivers in those years and I was confused when Renfrow and Higgins also caught the list.

The problem lies in the fact that the majority of these guys were not NFL talent when they came to Clemson. Player development is non-existent at the WR position under Grisham.
I would do whatever it takes to get Jeff Scott back. Build his kids an amusement park on campus.

In case you forgot, during those years, we had Deshaun and Trevor that helped WRs come our way. After his first year, DJU was no help and Cade is an unknown.
