My wife has been sicker (not COVID) this year than ever in her life. She's on her 3rd bought of it and it takes a long time to shake. Cold-like, congestion, sore throat symptoms.

So far, I have not caught it from her. She also had fairly severe reactions to the vaccine.

Sure makes you wonder...

Assuming it isn't a false negative test, it might be worth her doctor checking for RSV, which has been particularly severe this season - though has largely showed the worst symptoms in young people. (I have no idea if the treatment is different than that for colds or flu.)

first time was on October took about three weeks. I'm in my third week again. Both times I started to get better than relapsed. I called doc and she called on a prescription of antibiotics. It seemed to help last time.

I'm double vaxxed and boosted, so my immune system is likely compromised.
