There's no question he gets drafted. I'm happy for him because the talent was there.....and happy for us it materialized at the right time when Ross went down with the spinal injury.

Yes. Powell will be a solid WR in the NFL.
Remember, Ray Ray McCloud made an NFL roster and has half the receiving talent Powell does.

Ray Ray is in the league because of his return ability. But I agree Cornell is turning into a beast.

I agree, Just making the point how Powell has more skills than others that played receiver and got signed from CU.

He’s a Pete Carroll type of receiver. If he goes round 6-7 to Seattle, it wouldn’t surprise me. Even UFA to Seattle. It’d be a great fit out there

Powell is shooting up draft boards and his name is on the "How you like me now" list in several war rooms

I think if he comes back he plays himself into a 2nd or 3rd rounder. Probably a 6th or 7th right now. You never know though Kevin Dodd got picked in the 2nd round because he turned it on his last 6 games.

That’d be awesome. Imagine him and Ross out there together and Powell as a 6th year GROWN man!!

I think every athlete eta another year did to Covid. I think he could actually come back next year if he wants to, which cul send him even further up the draft boards.

Yes for me. So much growth in skill sets, toughness and maturity this year. He can catch ball from an NFL QB. He can run routes. Combine questions will be "is he 6'0? What are 40 and cone-drill times? Can he play special teams?"
Not a star. But a backup / practice squad player. It pays.
