Who cares, it was a horrendous loss! Clemson has to be over this. This game is 100% why fans can't get excited. Just as everyone's hope ramps up, CBB let's a 20pt loss to a 4-5 team that was underdog by 5pts. It's just wash and repeat, year after year. You can't build excitement when its crushed every 4-5 games.
CBB has to be replaced, this experiment is over!

In our previous 10 games, we won 8. Both losses were at the buzzer. Loyola was the first time in 11 tries that we weren’t competitive.
Last night was a bad loss, but it doesn’t predict doom and gloom over our season. We play 30+ games a year. We have a solid resume so far with plenty of opportunities to improve it the rest of the way.

The problem is most of these so called fans want the doom and gloom. They want him out and any loss they will treat it as the end of the world.

I am no huge fan of Clemson basketball and were it not for the fact that my family has floor seats, I'd rarely ever go. And they have a decent buffet.
But it's fun to watch! The speed of the play is always impressive and you truly get a sense of how little actually separates bad from good from great programs.
Which is why I can say losing to Loyola is horrendous. I know enough to know those losses look really bad at tourney selection time.

Whether Clemson wins or loses bball games doesnt matter. It's an incidental program.
I dont really care one way or the other. The games are fun to watch, though.
And because I bring a fairly indifferent perspective to the table, I can say losing to *gulp* Loyola (NET 270) is horrendous.
Them's just facts. It looks bad now, it'll look bad in March. Spin it anyway you want about buzzer beaters and strong starts, losses like these are cred killers.
Come on. A fan would know this.

Yes, Clemson bball tends to suck. Yes, they arent expected to beat the UVAs of the world.
But a NET 270 program after almost dumping one to Towjam?
Horrendous.
