1. I hate to say this but BB has extremely poor game management skill! It was blatantly obvious tonight.
2. Graham Neff sitting courtside was not happy at all the last 2 minutes. Without strong ACC and NCAA Tournament runs, the BB era is most likely over.

Re #2: The second half of that game was like a Brownell season in a nutshell.
Start off great, build a huge lead, then the wheels just fall off.

when the wheels faall off we do things to help them catch up. stupid turnovers, quick long shots instead of making them play d. Louisville really only shoots foul shots well som lets see how many fouls we can give to let them score with the clock stopped. It was really silly how much we helped with squandering the lead.

I believe after deciding to retain brad after last season, you have to believe Neff is under the assumption that he has a coach at Clemson who is going to do something possibly never done before in coaching in that after 13 years his coach will suddenly turn the program into a consistent winning program that makes the tournament more often than it doesn’t. , I’ve tried to thing of an instance in which a college basketball coach went from rarely having a tournament team in his first 13 years of his tenure to suddenly becoming a coach that routinely makes the tournament.

I don’t blame brad, he is what he is. Pretty sure he didn’t hold a gun to Neffs head when making the decision to bring him back year after year.

Year after year? Neff was hired in the middle of the 21-22 season. Obviously a guy who just got the job will be hesitant to fire a coach after a few months on the job.

So, in reality Neff gave him a chance after last year. A year where we were screwed out of a tournament bid.

I’ll assume that if the wheels (continue to) fall off that Neff will make a change. Of course everyone will just ##### about whoever he hires…

Your hate for Neff is strange.

In game adjustments have always been the big weak spot. It’s why we never hold a lead and close out strong and every game there seems to be an 8-10 minute stretch where we do nothing. Never seen a lead he can’t lose.

I think the only reason he decided to retain Brownell at the end of last season was because there was a good team coming back this year and he did not want to scrap it to start over. A lot of those players are gone after this season and I think that is when he will make the move. Barrimg a final four or ACC tournament Championship I think they will be new leadership courtside next year

Weary. BB stands all game yelling at kids - we are unable to recruit complete players that compete at highest level. So we get men who are in development and still learning the game. As much as he yells, wonder how many really hear him.
There are four other coaches over on that bench. Can no one understand how to win? How to help kids enjoy game? Dang there are only 30+ games a year. Last night all looked like they were going to have a root canal.

Played high school and college basketball- could not wait for games. So much fun - we won our share and then some. Coaches would remind us of better ways during timeout but no one ever roamed the sideline yelling at us. Practice was a different story😡
