One of my favorite days, first day of spring ball.
Call me crazy...I think our OL will be a strength this year. If we can get the center position figured out, we will have significant starting experience and an upgraded position coach in Luke. Every starter should be bigger, stronger, faster, more experienced and better coached than last year.
If this is our starting line, we will have plenty of size to match up against Georgia in the opener.
LT-Leigh
LG-Tate
C-Sewell
RG-Parks/Sadler
RT-Miller
If Pennington can take a step forward, then we have a viable interior back-up with size. Barring a mass casualty situation, it really takes 8 starting quality lineman to have a successful season so we need just 2-3 more to step up and be serviceable.
I might be nuts but I like what we have. Fingers crossed, no spring injuries.

Think Linthicum starts at center and then you have Sewell, Sadler, and any number of other options for backups so I do think we’ll be super solid up front this year.

Agree. Early last year, Mayes could be plugged in anywhere, and played okay. I see Sewell doing the same this year. Unfortunately, it seemed Mayes faded as the year went on.
I also think Sadler starts on the left side (not sure whether G or T) when the season starts.

Probably real close but I'm anxious to see who Luke puts out there. If it's 5 freshman, I trust him. As long as Dabo gives him autonomy to call the shots.

When I saw the lineups from yesterday, I thought the 2nd team seemed just as good as the 1st team.
Hopefully that’s a good thing and not a bad thing.
And I think Coach Luke will make a huge difference.
