Actually, the FSU starters today are mostly 2nd and 3rd stringers. You have no depth when all they play are transfers and not develop recruits.

Actually, the FSU starters today are mostly 2nd and 3rd stringers. You have no depth when all they play are transfers and not develop recruits. Not happening at Clemson, so suk it up and get used to it.

The CFP is an invitational based on talent evaluation?
Ok. Not the way I see it, but if that’s your take the FSU snub makes sense. I tend to think the point of the CFP is to crown a champion based on a body of work, rather than trying to agree on who is “best.”

Alabama will be a much better opponent for Michigan than the Noles would have been- without Jordan Travis. I am certain they would have been in- with Jordan Travis. They sorta got screwed, but cry me a freakin’ river.
The Playoff snub virtually ensured a mass exodus from their meaningless game. We are in a transitional period for college football. Somehow, knowing that NIL and portal access were going to be imposed by the courts, the governing/oversight bodies/playoff committee/conferences/major programs did not create any standards/regulations/guidance on the new free market for college athletes. The result is chaos that, in the absence of any regulation whatsoever, can ultimately only benefit the current top-tier programs.
I think anyone pretending to know what emerges from this college football rectum is kidding all of us.

I hate Georgia. I wish the score was the other way around. My point is that FSU in no way shape or form is a playoff team without Jordan Travis. Probably wouldn’t have won it with him. The opt out thing is out of control but if FSU had all those players Georgia would still beat them handily. The committee got it right just like they got it right all those years they put us in when people complained about our SOS. All the posts on here complaining about a team that forfeited on us being robbed of a playoff spot are ridiculous. Their coach cancelled on us just to avoid this type of beatdown and he has no sympathy from me.
