Another ESPN 'upset' alert for Clemson

Clemson, by seed, is a favorite, but pretty much everywhere else, New Mexico is expected to come out on top. The Lobos are narrowly favored (2.5 points) for Friday's action in Memphis, and an ESPN list of the Top 10 potential seed upsets agrees:
Yes, we heartily agree with other laptops, Vegas, social media and that know-it-all relative. This looks like a game where the Lobos are straight-up favorites. UNM's Jamal Mashburn Jr. and Jaelen House form arguably one of the better backcourts in the entire field. The committee might view this bid as having been "stolen" by New Mexico, but Richard Pitino's group is quite capable of advancing.

Kind of like the Jason Whitlock post just a few minutes ago. With 2 former NBA stars sons on the team the media types want them to move on so they can do side stories like the one with House and his Dad last night. We just got to hope the refs call a fair game and are not in on the hype!!

with two really ugly losses coupled with the fact that NM has a pretty darn good backcourt, something Clemson has struggled to defend all season. They also know CBB's less than impressive tournament history.

90% of social media and CBB experts are all picking New Mexico.
Some could argue that it's a "must" to pick a 6 over 11 in your bracket and this game has caught traction as the go to choice.
Hard to argue against Vegas but, in my opinion I think all of this ridiculous and believe Clemson is an overall better team, without a doubt. We'll find out Friday afternoon. Hopefully, it sets off a fun weekend for us all.
