NFL needs relegation. Period. The owners do not care. Want proof? Look no further than Dan Snyder. The Redskins were a joke on the field, and their ownership was an embarrassment off the field. Snyder bought the franchise for $800M in 1999. He sold it for $6B in 2023. During that time frame they went 164-220-2. Owning an NFL franchise is the best investment the world has ever seen.

I have no doubt Arthur Blank will hire Belichick...a 72 year old man with a 83-104 record without the greatest QB to ever to play the game. Why? Bc it really doesn't matter. That's why.

Let me correct my statement...MOST don't care. I think Jerry wants to win. He's a football guy. Blank is a money guy. Belichick is safe money. Being a Falcons fan is sad.

Relegated to where?

And I disagree on Blank, he wants to win.

They need to create two divisions...a top and bottom like EPL soccer.

Arthur Blanks is winning...just in a different way than any fans actually value.

I think the wording in the headline should be reversed "Bill Belichick interviewed the Falcons."

How far down the list are the Falcons? Dallas would be better. I hate to admit it but Philly would be better. I think Quinn to Seattle is a done deal. Do you see LA Chargers as a better spot than ATL? I think there are some programs that would have first choice of Belichick if they want him.

What team has the best QB? That's where I'd go. So the Chargers are a much better option than ATL.

Atlanta's in the weakest division in the NFL. Chargers have to deal with the Chiefs.

They've got a legit QB to build around. ATL let Matty Ice go to draft Ritter and picked up Heinicke.

Hard to imagine Jerry and Bill getting along well. Jerry is a meddling owner who hires yes men. Bill is used to being GM and HC and probably wants close to full control of the franchise wherever he goes. He's far more likely to get that in Atlanta. The Falcons also have a talented roster that just needs a QB.

When asked for comment Belichick said, "I'm moving on to Dallas" twelve times.

Belichick will have the same problem in Atlanta, lack of talent. I think they need someone who will be there for the long haul and build a program. Vrabel would be my choice.

Me too. Hire Vrabel, and do whatever it takes to jump to #1 to draft Caleb Williams.
