Why is he entering the TP ? Is it NIL money ? TP is destroying college football. It’s teaching kids it’s ok to quit on your team, coaches and fans. Commitment to a program use to mean something, now it’s just a word that means unless a better offer comes along.
The words Commitment, Character, Honor, Loyalty, Teammates no longer have any meaning. A person’s word has no value. They are just words in the dictionary. Sending fans and coaches letters talking about how much the school, coaches , players and fans mean nothing to these players bailing out have lost my respect. We ran DJ out of Clemson but Bo Collins is just a mystery to me. This is not what the TP was intended for.
Screw these enabled, pampered athletes, screw NIL, screw the TP, the NCAA and what use to be college football.
College athletics has become nothing but greed, selfishness, and corruption. I am sick and tired or these spoiled kids failing to honor their commitment.
If Dabo had any sense he would tell Clemson to find someone else to take over this BS and leave what use to be college football to the vulture’s like ESPN and conferences like the SEC and Big Ten and the greedy College Football players and other athletes that have created this greedy, corrupt business where every is trying to make money. Fans that continue to attend games are either blind or they don’t give a #### about what is happening. Buy attending or watching games shows you are supporting all of this BS going on.
Thank you to a worthless weak NCAA for turning a blind eye to what you allowed to happen to college athletics. Thank you to our state legislators for approving NIL.
Yes I am pissed off and tired of all of this chaos and the spoiled enabled kids that are part of it, over paid coaches, incompetent AD’s who hand Jimbo Fisher contracts.
I guess Bo hitting the TP and possibly Shipley too is just more than I want to continue to deal with. What these kids is a good kick in the a$$. Instead we pamper them and coddle them and beg them to play for our team. We are now letting the players run the show. Soon they will have their own Unions. So long PAC 12 and see you what use becollege football.

But I agree completely. It's a mess. The inmates are running the asylum. I know - bad analogy - but people seem to forget that these are just 18-22 year old KIDS, and very immature when it comes to all that money and opportunity. Shoot, even many of the players in the NFL are too immature to handle it all, and we read about that in the sports news frequently.
Remember NIL was never a formal policy of the NCAA - it was a ruling by a judge that said they could and there was nothing in place to regulate it or put reasonable parameters on it. And the portal - it's just become a mess, and that's totally the NCAA's responsibility.
Pretty soon there will be two power conferences and everyone else will be left scrambling for the table scraps.

SC’s legislature made NIL into a law or added to scholarship funds not sure but each states legislature made NIL possible. The courts may have ruled in favor on NIL but it was left to the each state legislature to implement NIL. Courts I don’t believe can pass laws they can just rule in favor of them or rule them illegal. Then states could sue courts.
All I know is NIL is one of our legislators biggest boneheaded moves.

The Supreme Court ruled correctly and if you stop to think about it, it makes perfect sense. Some company makes millions by using your name, image, and likeness and you get zero. What would you think if it were your NIL being used and you were not compensated. It doesn't matter if you are a college athlete, electrician, trash man, etc. you should be compensated.

That in itself isn't the real problem. The issue the Supreme Court dodged is the set up of college sports a a whole. They let everybody be a little bit pregnant.
If you say players should be compensated, that's fine. What you also have to do it classify them as employees. Then you also have to make the schools pay taxes on all this revenue.

Imagine calling someone a "plantation owner" (a despicable characterization) because they don't want college football destroyed by all of this unregulated money and portal hopping. Even the NFL has more safeguards in place than the current college football landscape

It is better for the team when these middling veterans transfer because Dabo would feel compelled to start them if they came back instead of superior underclassmen. Collins is an average college WR, not a difference maker.

Just relax, Collins is transferring to another school, not a big deal. If he wants to go elsewhere, that’s cool, this gives us an opportunity to go out and get a tall downfield receiver that’s better than Collins.
I wish him the best. Never heard anything bad about Collins.
