Today was rough and we really took it on the chin but it’s just one game. Still was a home run hire. I believe we’ll win a NC with this guy.

We’ll be forgetting about this loss sooner than later

This happens a lot

I personally didn’t like the Barlow decision to be on Friday so far. He struggled to find his rhythm for a while last year against the midweek opponents, and doesn’t look like he can control his pitches early in the game. That’s just how it is for him right now, he can get better.

Pitching was rough tonight, but for the season is doing better than average. Are you watching the games or just commenting on one score? Tigers walked 12 and struck out 29 last series.

I follow Clemson baseball very much , and have for close to 40 years. This teams mental approach to the game is way better than last years team. That being said, I don’t think our pitching is that good. I’m hoping the young arms get up and going quickly or this might be our downfall.The opening series against Xavier, our starters all struggled the first inning before settling down.If the pitching stays suspect, I hope our bats get hotter.

It’s one game. Hopefully we will learn and grow from it. I like Bakich but we won’t know if he is a home run hire for a few years which is the same for any new coach

They better get it together for next weekend or the series will be lost before it gets to Clemson on Sunday.

It seems to me the Tiger Baseball team was swept by UCF in the 2nd weekend series last year that lead to "Hill Gate". Things worked out pretty good after that.

Yesterday was only one game of a long season.

I appreciate Bakich taking this embarrassment squarely on his shoulder. I think he knows he’s taking some risks with his current weekend rotation. Hopefully Gordon can get his pitch count increased to the point he gets back to the weekend starts. Hitting will improve. Just from the first weekend we can see the talent is there.
