The ACC followed FSU's lead in seeking a dismissal of the other's lawsuit surrounding the legality of the Grant of Rights and more on Friday. Longtime ACC writer David Teel with some key details:

"Florida State and the ACC each want the case tried on its home turf, which explains why the conference, anticipating the school’s Dec. 22 complaint, filed the day before. A North Carolina judge is scheduled to consider FSU’s motion to stay or dismiss March 22, the second full day of the NCAA men’s basketball tournament.

"If neither the North Carolina nor Florida court grants the motions, both cases could proceed on parallel tracks. At that stage, the race to judgment would be paramount."

The reason they missed the playoffs was because of the conference they belonged to. So seems like a legitimate beef.

Blah Blah Blah hurt starting quarterback Blah Blah Blah.

The SEC is the revenue horse. And not to be (off topic) but it is the rich being rich because the rich say they are rich.

The revenue is being produced for the major networks by the SEC and that revenue is then being poured back into the source (the SEC) that makes them rich. Sickening cycle that results in bloated rankings across the board for the conference in EVERY SINGLE SPORT.

Bloated ratings?? The SEC is the most viewed conference on television. The SEC is the top conference in attendance, more fans travel to away games than any other conference, far and away wins more titles than all other conferences put together and, by far, puts more into the NFL. What part of that is bloated?
