I don’t get on tigernet much so I don’t know what all is posted through the week. I have been extremely impressed with Cade . Though we are 2-2, I feel like we looked like Clemson of old this past Saturday. Cade played like Trevor or Deshaun in that game. He has 2 ints, both in the first two games. I’ve noticed improvement with him each week, unlike when DJ was the QB. The ball down the field to Tyler brown (where he got injured) was a work of art. I think by the end of the year Cade is going to be a dangerous QB. Had we made him the starter last year, we wouldn’t have been going through growing pains this year. We may win the rest of our games, or we may lose a couple more it’s hard to say. But Cade is THE GUY, HIM. His game against FSU was more than I could have hoped for. I believe people like Tyler Brown, Bryant Wesco, TJ Moore are fixing to make the offense explode next season. It kind of reminds me of the 2014 season.

Rumors are circling TNET that Wesco might be flipping to Oklahoma. Don't quote me thought I heard it here.

I hope our recruits hang in with us. They will be joining a very dangerous and motivated team next year.

Forgive me for being skeptical of the assurance that we will be a dangerous team next year. I heard the same thing last year about this year's team. For example, I saw the following posts here on TNet:
-The younger defensive players who will replace our future NFL defensive linemen are actually better. -Our defense will be a top 5 defense. -We will have a top 5 defense because Goodwin will be more comfortable. -We will be better without DJ at QB. -Cade will be amazing, and a dark horse Heisman candidate. -We will score over 40 points per game with Riley as OC. -Dabo will be mad about our disappointing year the last two years, and will have this year's team motivated and ready to dominate.

Yeah and 2 Novembers in a row you were a broken record on:
2021-22 Clemson basketball
2022-23 Clemson basketball
Let's go ahead and hear the sunshine pumping for how good Brown-L is going to be in 2023-24. C'mon get it over with as to how great we're going to be.

Seriously - these are you’re complaints?
“The younger defensive players who will replace our future NFL defensive linemen are actually better. -Our defense will be a top 5 defense. -We will have a top 5 defense because Goodwin will be more comfortable.”
These are all about the defense which is currently the #8 total defense in the country. Pretty close to your hyperbolic, uncredited promise of #5. Our defense line play has been fantastic. And, save for an end of half blunder against FSU, Goodwin has been great at making adjustments. “ -We will be better without DJ at QB. -Cade will be amazing, and a dark horse Heisman candidate. -We will score over 40 points per game with Riley as OC.”
These are essentially about qb performance. In 4 starts this season he has two (including premium competition in FSU) where he has thrown for more yardage that DJU did in his 26 starts as the qb1. We’re averaging 36 points a game. Up over 10% percent from last year. Case has been amazing for a first year starter. If his running backs were better at ball control and hadn’t “whiffed” on some crucial blocks we’re 4-0. If our kickers could hit field goals we’re 3-1.
-Dabo will be mad about our disappointing year the last two years, and will have this year's team motivated and ready to dominate.
This is dumb. Link please?
In other words, you’ve run out of passable slander against this program and are just making #### up.

even David Hood came through to correct the misunderstanding - the OP didn't not say this despite the fact that the sub thread ran with it. warranting DH to post on the topic

He has gotten noticeably better every game it seems like. First couple of games a had "happy feet". I was impressed against FSU. He has made some pretty tight window throws this year!

Cade is definitely improving.

You can see the improvement from the Duke game to the FSU game.
He doesn't have the "it" factor that Deshaun and Trevor had. He's more like Kyle Parker than those two, but I do feel that Cade can be a really good QB for us.
I'd like to see how he does throwing passes beyond 15-20 yards. The long balls I've seen aren't as amazing as Tajh Boyd's long ball, but then again not many QBs have that.
Cade's biggest challenges in front of him are going through his progressions faster, being more accurate with his passes, and minimizing big mistakes. It's not surprising that he's struggling with these issues, since he hasn't exactly played a whole lot of college football yet.

You do know Kyle Parker was beating Auburn when their DB hit him late (no flag thrown) causing a problem that he never recovered from during the season. If I recall correctly that team took Auburn's national championship team to overtime with an injured QB anyway. The season fell apart after that because of the injury to Kyle and Tajh was nowhere ready to play (his words not mine). So had Kyle been healthy the entire season how would have that season ended? I'd guess may the start of a 10 win season streak?

You mean the Kyle Parker that would have beaten Scam Newton and Auburn the year they won the nat? Had he not been cheap shotted out of bounds and concussed? We won that game fair and square but the SEC refs let them illegally intentionally injure Kyle. No penalty, no replay back then. Just scumbag football. He was a stud dual athlete and all around great leader. I hope he is very much like Kyle when all is done. Sorry Mr. QB evaluator, I’ll take KP any day and twice on Saturday. I don’t think you know squat about this, beyond the obvious. This morning would have been a great time to keep your ignorant thoughts to yourself, idiot.
