Camp Lejeune

Do you guys get commercials non stop it seems asking if you or anyone you know who lived in the area or worked at Camp Lejeune got cancer? Its about a water issue. I guess there must be an enormous class action brewing.

It is Yuge!! The Honoring Our Pact Act of 2022 has about $6.7 billion set aside to settle the claims.

I'm all for helping folks who were injured or who died as a result of exposure to contaminated water at Camp Lejeune.

However, I wish the government would dole out the money directly to the veterans and family members in lieu of letting the lawyers take upwards of 40% of the money off those injured or dead as a result of their exposure.

It's not that hard to discover from military records who was living on the base including dependents.
