Where was the Egg Nog????? MfOjr enjoys a few glasses every year and I couldn't find it but once or twice!!!! Pet makes the best!! I asked the store in town and they first said there was a shortage of ingredients. HOW CAN YOU NOT PREPARE FOR THIS????

I even try to find some Fail Nog!! Nope, that was not in the stores either!!!

Evan Williams Egg Nog is the best. Still plenty in liquor store near me.

Liver pudding? Store manager said there was a mad rush for some reason at the holiday time. Every store was wiped out and the main supplier(Neases) cut allotment to 1/3, which caused hording..of LIVER MUSH!!!
Many stores still don't have any.

I can't speak for availability in SC, but a number of the non-dairy alternatives are pretty good. I had some made from oats that came pretty close to the real thing. It's even harder to tell the difference when spiked with spiced rum.

I don't recall the brand, but Califa makes good non-dairy alternatives.

The PET brand I find too sweet. You should try the Southern Comfort brand. Its non-alcoholic in the dairy section of most grocery stores.

I prefer the southern comfort brand. I purchased the last 2 qts. our local super had just yesterday. I love this stuff, especially with a massive dose of dark rum stirred in. Never liked it until I reached the mid 70's.

Didn’t know you were having trouble finding it. The Ingles in Easley had it every time I looked. I’m not a big fan. Haven’t bought any in years because I always got enough of it tasting samples in the plants where we made it. I don’t drink a lot of milk either for the same reason.

Next year….look for Pennsylvania Dutch. It’s allocated, so stores don’t get a large supply. I think it’s the best tasting one you’ll find.

Good man, it’s time to make your own! Nothing better than homemade and it’s worth the effort. Invite the neighbors over and share a cup. You’ll thank me and so will they.

When I have the chance to come back to the Upstate of SC for the holidays, I always make a stop to Happy Cow for Egg Nogg.

Egg Nog is a mixed drink. The best Egg Nogs are all homemade. I assure you, no great egg nog was ever store bought.

Completely wrong on who makes the best egg nog. Try some Homestead Cremery egg now and get back to me. In fact, just try their custard with some bourbon or brandy in it and Pet will go way back in the pecking order

I don’t know the answer to your question, as to a Sakerlina Egg Nog shortage. I can say that there was no Egg Nog shortage in Texas. Oak Farms is my go to brand in TX, but I did grow up on the PET brand in Norkerlina.

Livermush…..I am definitely familiar with Mack’s. Finished growing up in Shelby, sort of. Shelby used to have a Livermush Festival, I had the T-shirt. Don’t get home very often any more, so I’m not sure if they continued that tradition.
