He is rated low 600’s. Thought we were in the running for sone higher rated guys. Hoping our class can finish top ten.

I think we'll finish well inside the top ten with player rating. Which to me is the more important rank. We have a lot of young safeties on the roster so it gives Ashton some time to develop. Love his film and he'd be a great culture fit.

Yes ..... I have always wondered why the number of players versus the average rating is so important in rank. I had rather be ranked 15 with 16 recruits averaging 91.1 than fifth with 23 recruits ranking 89.2.

That is indeed kind of interesting. Be interested to know what the criteria is as well. If you find out; can you post it here?
What agree with you on the scenario you posted. That makes more sense to me.

The total points ranking is a joke, it should be ranked by average rating. The team signs 25 three stars will be ranked higher than a team that signs 18 4-stars

Similar to Hebert, it might be that the coaches are finding them before the recruiting services do.
