Not sure I understand first half part.
The defense is the only reason we won the game. Not only did our D score 10 points but they held ND to 16 points.

They had 2 TD's, but only one drive (as the other started at our 1).
And then the D stopped their last 6 drives of the game, including 3-and-outs.

We played a ND team with one of the best OL’s in the nation, maybe the best running back in the country and the best portal QB money could buy
And we did it with a bunch of injuries
Who got a pick 6?
When our offense stalled in the 4th quarter, who stopped ND stone cold drive after drive and got what should have been a game ending interception?

I have only ever seen or heard that name used on this message board. I see no evidence that it has ever been used as an actual nickname within the organization. I see know evidence it was a nickname that came here with him. If I’m wrong I’d love to see any evidence of it used outside of this forum.

Yeah, I think that is where it came from and was started. I remember him being interviewed on WCCP or maybe another channel and he had mentioned it. This was maybe 2019 or so.

The earliesr evidence I see of the use of nickname for Goodwin is January 2022 when a now banned user created an account under the name Pork Chop with a derogatory avatar of Goodwin.
May have been a Atl Paw Man scock because he immediately took to calling Goodwin Pork Chop in posts thereafter and tagged the Pork chop account frequently.

since mid-October I have been on a no negativity vow and will continue to abide by said vow.
I always saw PorkChop as kind of a term of endearment but if it is in any way seen as negative, I shall not use it.

after we got a good lead. Venables did that and folks biched about it back during his first few season. The idea is keep the passes short and underneath to let the other team help milk the clock.
