Rivalry game! Just like Auburn had Bama on the ropes and analytics said Bama had .1% chance of winning at the end. No doubt Bama is a better team but passion trumps skill sometimes.

Don’t dismiss the fact that we played a very conservative game offensively. We pounded the rock controlling 38 minutes of the clock.

It’s all on not having WRs good enough for this level of football. Bad ran routes, dropped 3-4 easy catches last night and no physical play at all. They just all go in motion then stand there . No blocking on the screens just a terrible bunch.

Which makes me wonder if our WR coach teaches WRs how to block or even knows how to teach it. If a pass is thrown behind the LOS, can't a receiver initiate contact and block before the ball is thrown? Whatever the blocking WR is supposed to do, the receiving WR gets blown up 100% of the time as soon as he catches the ball.

I might be completely wrong but I wouldn’t be surprised to see Jeff Scott coaching the wide receivers at some point in the future. I know he’s been a coordinator and a head coach but I still think he’s back in Clemson for a reason.
