Tampering is implicit when lining up portal players and coordinating 3rd party $ pay for play. For 5 star HS recruiting, coordinating with 3rd party $ would still be required at Bama. Not Dabo’s bag.

Dabo took "little ole Clemson" and made it a national brand...

Dabo is unwilling to compromise on his principles and commitment to his players, walking out of Clemson as successful, prepared young men ... all of them...

I'll take that all day every day.

Alabama was coming back to the pack, just not as quickly as did Clemson. I'd bet Saban is leaving because he doesn't want to do the things he was now forced to do, just like Dabo doesn't want to do them. My guess is Saban doesn't want to be a defacto minor league professional coach so he's going to ride off into the sunset.
