I mean, it's pretty standard coach speak. I wouldn't expect him to say anything else. We shall know in a few weeks as most in the know at A&M expect this to be wrapped up in the next 2-3 weeks due to signing day and the transfer portal. Having said that, I don't believe he's the top candidate, but rather the guy a state over who beat him recently is.

I’m always reminded of Charlie Pell when he left Clemson. One day he’s saying he won’t go anywhere. The next day he’s already gone.

I don’t trust anything a coach says when it comes to taking/not taking another job.

Just texted my son this same thing. Coaches will say one thing and then do another.
A&M just pissing money away. Lot of money with little return.
