Shaking off an abysmal 1st inning & settling in after that. Forced alot of quick at-bats. Gotta credit the fielding as well.

You can say that with 20-20 hindsight. I don't think they were haters. Giving up 4 runs on 8 pitches is a terrible start. But he settled down and bats got hot.

True. Hindsight is always helpful, which is why it’s a good practice to avoid reactionary and/or emotional posts in-game. Especially true when our offense hasn’t even had a chance to bat.
