Good kid and hope he progresses but have to admit that I'm glad he's in Oregon now instead of Clemson...

I've followed Oregon State for years, probably because I follow Oregon football very closely.
Last season was a magical ride for the Beavers that included a couple of gut-wrenching losses. I hope they do well this year.
Jonathan Smith will have them well-prepared and they should demolish San Jose State. They like to run the ball and he'll keep DJ within 1-2 lanes and won't ask him to do too much.

I expect him to progress from last year. He certainly did from year 1 to year 2. He went from being the worst college qb ive ever seen to just really bad. I expect him to just be bad this year.

I hope he fails. You can say once a Clemson man always a Clemson man all you want, truth of the matter is anyone given as many opportunities as DJ was with as much praise and love as DJ got from Dabo should have just said thank you for the opportunity sorry it didn’t work out and moved on. But at the end of the day he blamed everyone but the one person who was at fault for his poor play and that was himself. Hope they finish one win shy of bowl eligibility and he throws a pick or takes a sack to cost them a bowl game. My guess is Oregon state won’t have the same patience and faith that Dabo had though.

No harm intended toward them but I'm sooo glad we don't have all that 'DJU family drama' going on all the time this year.
Hopefully, they move on and things work out for them just like we're looking forward to doing.

Oregon State has some capable alternatives should DJ not work out. If he stinks early, he will be pulled.
