He’s been much maligned for bad snaps, but this young man is an exceptional player. He had a couple of bad snaps at bad moments, and that has driven him out of Bama.
I personally know this family. Seth’s final two were between Alabama and Clemson. He chose Alabama, and without going down the rabbit hole, Clemson LOST him.
I see this as a golden opportunity. Seth’s “stock” (using a Daboism) is low right now, but this is a smart, incredibly talented athlete, and he WILL play on Sunday. He’s also an honors student, sharp as they come, and in my view has all the right stuff to be a Clemson Man. In terms of a culture fit, in my view there’s no better.
I hope Dabo is taking note of this. I think Dabo himself viewed this as a missed opportunity at the time. Let’s see what happens.

Bad snaps at a couple of key moments have so maligned him there that I think it’s pushed him out. —-This is speculation.

But preferably one that can make a simple snap to the QB. It wasn't a one time thing. Bad snaps were his M.O. all season.
But I'd be happy to have him as an interior OL guy.

He has two visits scheduled at Ole Miss and OSU. Clemson may have reached out to him, but not aware of any visit. Transfer portal works based on NIL money and opportunity. Dabo does not play this game.

I heard (not sure if true) that Day had dinner last night with McLaughlin and Will Howard. Again, don’t know if true. Howard is a transfer qb from KSU that committed to Ohio State last night.

That’s after the Buckeyes tried meddling with OU QB Jackson Arnold which is highly illegal. Losing 3 years in a row to TTUN has the Buckeyes desperate, but Day just may be another John Cooper.

a fresh start....he's probably a viable option at any of the inside spots.
I checked into the 2020 class and looks like he chose Bama shortly after 2019 signing day....we had some early commits on the OL that year and took 2 highly ranked 4 star guys week or so before he picked Bama. Im guessing we filled up early and he chose Bama? We took Howard late in the process but cant recall if it was a numbers thing due to transfer out?
Either way, Im sure he'll get some very good options.

This is mostly accurate save some important details. I’ll add that Seth did nothing to burn his bridge with Clemson, and I’ll say again as a statement of fact: Clemson lost this player at the time, and I believe Dabo saw that as a missed opportunity.

I don’t think Clemson’s centers had as many poor snaps all season as this guy did in one game.
This would be like getting a receiver from the portal that drops passes.
Bad snaps and dropped passes are both just a wasted play.

Funny not funny, but I talking to a work colleague today. Ohio State alum. I asked him about McCord. He stated social media is driving allot of these kids away. He stated some players are getting beaten up verbally on campus etc. Thus, they decide this is too hostile and transfer. This could be the case here. Really really sad state of affairs with CFB and our society.

Agreed. Anonymity without any accountability gives you some of the worst out of people. TNet is exhibit-A.
In the case of Seth, the root is too strong here for this to be more than a speed bump. Someone is going to get a #### of a lineman and teammate that make them immediately better.

Very true and Ohio State is a particularly mean fan base. When we beat them in the shoe in 2005, their fans threw beer bottles at fans wearing Texas colors. They came to Austin the following season and beat us and we’re treated with respect.
We played Michigan in Rose bowl the year before and all their fans were classy. The spirit of Woody Hayes lives on in Buckeye fans
