Wiltfong is usually spot on. DE is a major need this class. Darien Mayo, CJ Jackson and Solomon Williams are our best options at this point. Fortunately, we signed a stellar DE class last year. Still, we are losing XT and Mascoll, and maybe a couple more.

If I’m not mistaken the 247 guys change their CB’s every time a recruit leans a certain direction. Not too hard being spot on when you wake up and see what direction the winds blowing.

Wiltfong is over 99% accurate this cycle. We could always hope this drops his percentage though.

Strange to me he gets a cb to the bucknuts the sunday after his uga visit. 247 says he goes to Columbus this coming weekend.

It surprised me too. Clemson one weekend then UGA the next THEN gets CB’d to tOSU. I mean maybe he is just that enamored with the program & wanted to see if UGA or Clemson changed his mind but I really thought he was a Clemson lean with Eason

I hope this was the reason. Who really knows how things go in recruiting, but word is Ohio State got outbid for 2 different 5 star defensive linemen last year because OSU wouldnt play the upfront NIL game. There is talk of things being different this year with Ohio State and NIL. I dont know if that means m more funds available, upfront NIL, or what. But teams, who have legitimate national title aspirations, cant just get outbid for the best players. We have to keep up with the Joneses. If nobody is enforcing anything, schools have to take matters into their own hands.

Little surprised. Thought it was us and UGA with us having the lead after last weekend.
I’m sure other teams are using our roster full of 4 and 5 stars across the D front against us.

He could be headed to OSU, I don’t know, but keep in mind Wilfong doesn’t have good source(s) within Clemson.

Wiltfong also had Sammy Brown as UGA and mentioned wanting to put a crystal ball in for them right before his visit and commitment.
