Sorry to hear this for my Gamecock friends. I usually only listened to their broadcasts when they were about to lose, and Moody took every loss hard! I respected his love for his team. These announcers and commentators are like family to their fans. Still miss Phillips.

Oh no. I hadn't heard that. I grew up with Tommy. He's as good a person as anyone you'd ever know. Prayers to his friends and family. Wow. Sad day.

And you're right about the Great Jim Phillips. They'll never be another one. Tommy was as sad as anyone when Jim passed. It used to be a brotherhood. Definitely got the sads. Guess those really were the good ole days.

I honestly can’t say I ever listened to Moody but that’s awful to hear. My condolences go out to gamecocks.

tried to bring some sanity to 107.5 Coot Central radio on a daily basis. Prayers to his family and friends.

the Midlands. Fair, always a gentleman, extremely knowledgeable about not only the Gamecocks but all sports in general. Always respectful of the rivalry and you could tell loved this state. He will be missed dearly.

Tommy was a real good guy and a true historian. Never went out of his way to bad mouth Clemson or the sports programs.

RIP Mr Moody!
