Germans, Im Sure, but

Thought it worth repeating.

Just watching the 20 min recap of the Gator Bowl, and the @sshattery, classlessness, and dirty play of Kentucky is breathtaking, especially for a program whose trophy case features cobwebs.

You can tell when a team hasn’t been there before and doesn’t know how to act with class.

KY is ahead of the coots and has won one SEC football championship. But, nobody remembers because that was back in the early 1950s when Bear Bryant was their HC.

Geography is hard but Germany is a county in Europe and you see what you want to see since Kentucky only had 4 penalties in the game.

A. You’ve been around TNet long enough to know what Germans means. Really?

B. Penalty count != behavior indication. Silly to suggest.

C. Go Tigers!

I thought it to be one of the better Bowl games as the two were more evenly matched than in many games.
Most Bowl games were crap.

Football is (or at least used to be) a tough sport to participate in.
I suspect the Tigers can handle any thugs who show.

It was one of the best bowl games. CBS ranked the Gator Bowl as the 2nd best of the year, behind only the Rose Bowl.

"All bowl games in the future should study tape of the 2023 Gator Bowl for an idea of what they should want to be. There wasn't even an edible mascot, or a novelty Gatorade dump in this game, but it didn't need it. Everything that happened on the field was more than enough. Pregame ranking: 21"

I agree it was a now rare great game amongst a lot of bad ones. Just calling out the excessive showboating and on-field jawing. There was also a reported incident in which Eason had to be restrained from going after taunting KY players pre-game.
I know CU isn’t always guilt free of such behavior, but this stuff rankles me. The officials sure let a lot more of it go now than in the past, which doesn’t help. I recall a flag on a Tiger for saluting (I think it was on Military Appreciation Day!), and another for a throat slash (not a fan). Those things seem to be routinely tolerated now.

I just disagree. Kentucky played a hard tough game and was not willing give us an inch. I am so tired of this constant Clemson "fan" mantra that every other AMERICAN college football team is dirty and classless or that anyone who calls you out for being a whiny biotch is a coot. Honestly, if you want to claim that Clemson fans are the best fans anywhere get off your high-judgment horse and start with never insulting another team in any way whether they do it to us or not. Quit pissing and moaning about referees. You can't just claim to be better fans. You have to actually be better fans.

Wow, you read an awful lot into what I posted. Did I complain about the officiating? Did I say Ky didn’t play hard? The game itself was great, and you can play hard with class. Not often done these days, but I don’t have to ignore it.

I’ll call out bad behavior when I see it, but thanks for the suggestion.

He wasnt talking about the officiating or the fans

He was talking about the players. Personally, I thought the Kentucky players were obnoxious, and it made the outcome even more enjoyable that they had to eat crow after all of their mouthing and antics.
