Spent many early Saturday afternoons listening to Jim Phillips on a transistor radio, and feeling like I was right there in the stadium with him!!

Some of best days of my life ….. sitting in a dove field with a radio on a stump listening to games with my dad. My dad always said he didn’t need a bird dog …. He had me to retrieve the birds.

Met Jim at the golf course I worked at while in high school. Very cool dude. Loved listening to Clemson games on Saturday back in the day.

Many great memories listening to football and basketball with my dad. One of best childhood memories. Jim was the best. Many forget, Jim was also the WYFF sports guy or WFBC as it was known then.

Jim Phillips was the greatest! Munson catches a lot of flack, but we could be stuck with a Todd Ellis who may be the worst ever
