Calling for 102 degrees in Pickens next weekend.
How would you like to sit in The Valley about 3pm on a day like that? My worst was the first time we played Boston College and Doug Flutie. I think it hit 92 that day with lightning bolts popping all around. Coeds were a meltin!

Columbia is the hottest place in the southeast, not sure why but it always seems to be, of course that’s a good thing when we are freezing in NC & it’s 50 f there…lol

I remember that big bolt of lightning and seeing about 15000 people in north upper deck exit those stands in a flash

I'll never forget the game against FSU, I think 1995, at home, I think it halftime it had to have been 95°. One Tiger fan apparently died in the stands that day of a heat stroke

Cdixon. I was there with my pregnant wife. She was a trooper until halftime. The next week against VA it was raining and cold.

we have had a pretty mild summer in south Florida, never getting above 95 and managing to cool off at night. It is 75 out right now, I have all the windows and doors open. Next week we are looking at 105 as well.

I used to live in West Palm Beach after college I had a furniture business off of Okeechobee Blvd just off I-95. It’s almost the same forecast daily in the summer lol. High of 92-95 and low of 74-76 with a 30 percent chance of morning, afternoon or early & late evening thunderstorms flash flooding possible. This was the forecast from mid May through September lol.

The Texas A&M games the last two times in Texas & Clemson were very hot for football. Auburn game a few years ago too.
The first couple games seem to be that way.
Facing the devil in week one, you know he’ll try to bring the temps up but we need to pray up ✝️ and get him out of the way right off the bat 🦇.
