Big 10 is all time 28-27 vs the PAC 12 in the Rose Bowl.... I do think Oregon and Washington are going to have much more success in the Big 10 than Texas and OU will have in the SEC.

Time will tell....

Next question is how long it takes the cooters to beat OU and Texas.

Opening line is over/under 12.5 years.

Specifically Oregon. Think how difficult it was to prepare for GT's offense under Paul Johnson, similarly I think the B1G will struggle to adapt.

If it ever happens it will be an upset akin to Appst upsetting Michigan

The coots will never win the SEC. Never

OU is 120-49-3 vs current SEC teams.

Voting is about 2 to 1 in favor of the BIG. That would be about the odds I would

give it. Twice as likely that the Ducks or the Huskies get it done as the Schooners or the Pronghorns.

Odds are in favor of Oregon and Washington because top to bottom the SEC is stronger.

That could easily change though.

Wisconsin and PSU are lurking

As a Duck this is sort of an interesting question. First, the B1G added USC and UCLA before adding Oregon and Washington, so yea, the Ducks are honestly lucky to be in the mix. We all know that if USC had a vote when Oregon was offered they would have said NO. They are tired of losing to the Ducks over the last 20 years.

So yea Oregon probably has a chip on it's shoulder and is looking to take care of business. However, leaving USC out of this conversation is a mistake. They will likely be a very tough team next year. Don't be surprised if they make a run. Washington on the other hand seems to have too much turnover to repeat.

As for TX and OU, I'd expect TX to make a stronger run. I do agree that TX will likely have the best chance at the SEC. Especially with Saban gone it could be wide open.

I chose those two because they're coming off strong seasons. Normally I would have chosen Southern Cal but they are too weak defensively year in and year out.

Personally I only think Washington is enjoying their success due to the play of Penix .

I expect them to return to mediocrity once he's gone.

It's still interesting to think about and the top to bottom strength of the SEC will prove difficult to topple

I also could have included Stanford and SMU and how they might fare as well in the ACC but decided to keep it fairly simple.
