Carlos Watkins is a big man. He was also a big-time player for the Tigers.
During Clemson:

Senior who made an enormous impact on the Tiger defense during his career, especially his last two seasons as a starter
- Had 191 tackles, 26 tackles for loss and 14 sacks in 1,666 snaps over 53 games (30 starts)
- Had 24 career games with at least one tackle for loss, and Clemson was 22-2 in those games
- Earned Senior Bowl invitation.
In his senior season (2016) Watkins was named
- First-team All-American by CBS Sports
- Second-team All-American by the Associated Press
- Fourth-team All-American by Phil Steele
- First-team All-ACC (media, coaches)
- Named to ESPN’s All-Bowl Team
- Tiger Pride Defensive Team MVP honors (Shared with Ben Boulware and Jadar Johnson)

After Clemson:
Carlos Watkins has already enjoyed an extended NFL career. The Houston Texans selected Watkins in the Fourth Round of the 2017 NFL Draft. He played four seasons with the Texans (2017-2020). He played 2 seasons (2021 and 2022) with the Dallas Cowboys. In 2023 he played for the Arizona Cardinals.
In all, he has played in 71 NFL games including 37 starts. He is credited with 139 NFL tackles including 17 tackles for loss.

South Carolina Highway 191 is a 21.93 mile state highway that runs from SC 421 in Warrenville, north to SC 121 in Johnston after passing through Graniteville and Eureka on the way from Aiken County to Edgefield County.
It's Pig's big day with a major life change. Instead of going to work, he can now find new destinations like, say, Lowes and/or Home Depot (Home Depot has the orange), where he'll find retirement stuff like hammocks, rocking chairs, and supplies to complete the honeydew projects. He can even take the wifey along so she can know what it feels like when he has to go clothes shopping with her. Maybe they can split time at Home Depot and Hamrick's. When they get cabin fever and wanderlust, they can head out to the lake to swim, fish, hike, bike, boat, or just relax in the shade or soak up some sun. Btw, you've probably explained it before, but how did you decide on Pig as a username?

Pig is a nickname I was given about 35 years ago by a group that plays in an annual Olympics held on lake Hartwell in Clemson each year. I've got probably 30 or so friends who my not even know my real name (or never call me by it). Some of those friends went with us on the trip to Venice and Greece last June. While on the cruise ship I would hear PIG! yelled from passengers I didn't even know, but had heard my buddies call me that. It has stuck with me for a long time.
The reason they call me Pig, I won't go into right now. Just believe me that it's less than flattering.

All my dad’s working life he would get a haircut at 7:15 in the morning every sixth Thursday on his way to work. if he got held up by some retired guy who came in early to get a haircut, he would rant and rave about how they could get a haircut anytime of day, why they in there getting in his way. After he retired, he continued to get a haircut at 7:15 in the morning every sixth Thursday and I said why don’t you go in the middle of the morning since you don’t have to work he said that’s my time for my haircut…

Been on 191 many times - favorite trips have been when I went through Saluda to Johnston on the way to Veterans Hunt in Cowden Plantation. Roads changed from 191 to 19 to 1 along the way. - just drop the last digit and won’t forget the way there.
