Watkins Top 10 Receiving Stats at Clemson (2011-2013):
- 1st: 3,391 Yards Receiving
- 1st (Tied): 27 Receiving Touchdowns
Tied with Deandre Hopkins (2010-2012) and Tee Higgins (2017-2019)
- 2nd: 240 Receptions
Artavis Scott (2014-2016) had 245 receptions
- 9th: 28 Total Touchdowns from Scrimmage (Not Including Kick Returns)
Travis Etienne (2017-2020) is 1st with 78

NC Interstate Hwy 240 is a 9 mile partial loop to the north around Asheville, North Carolina and connecting I40 on each end.
Working for the CU Ag. Engr. dept for a couple of summers, we spent a lot of time at what used to be called The Bottoms off Perimeter and Old Stadium roads. We mowed, weeded, sprayed, irrigated, etc. Crops were grown to test equipment for seeding, irrigating, and harvesting. These pics are what the area looks like now. Perimeter Road has changed drastically in the past 40 years.

My wife worked as a secretary in the Ag department for 1 semester after we got married in December 1984. I worked that semester for Engineering Services. We had to pay for school and a roach motel in Central.
The good old days...

on Hwy 93 between Clemson and Central. I grew up just down the road in Central. Did some yardwork a few times there as a teenager in the mid to late 70s. Always wondered how it stayed open back then as there never seemed to be more than 3 or 4 cars in the parking lot except maybe in the fall and when there was an archery competition that took place every year nearby.

It sat back off Hwy 93 right behind a small fast fare type of place. It was a dump, but it was also only $120.00 per month. We had absolutely nothing at that time in our lives.
