Beat a team 91-58 and lose to them 77-72?

Those of the scores between Wake and Pitt this season.

Wake won the blowout game and lost the close one.

Thats what separates great coaches from average ones. The ability to motivate your team constantly and consistently at a high level no matter the circumstances. Nick Saban was a master at this until the end when kids began worshipping money more than glory.

Go look at the Wake-Ga Tech two scores and see same thing but that was at Ga Tech where Wake beat them by about 30 and lost at home. Most of the time tho, Wake plays really well at home.
I think the Tigers will have to have a similar performance in win at UNC to have any chance. Wake at home, batteling for NCAAT bid, Senior day will play with everything on line.
Again key match up is Jack Clark on Hunter Sallis. Is Clark quick enough to guard an elite quick guard who is about 6-6?
