The frustration for myself and many other fans is not the 20+ wins. The frustration is in some of the losses.

Loss to 15-16 Miami

Loss to 14-17 GT at home

Loss to UVA. Granted UVA is a good basketball team. However, the end game was managed so poorly and a resume enhancing win turned into a loss.

Loss to NCSU. Again a solid basketball team, but the end game was very poorly played and coached.

Loss to 12-19 ND

Win two of those and we are 23-8 and have the double bye. Heck, one of five would have given us the double bye, as we would have tied Pitt who we swept in the regular season. Would even the most ardent BB apologist not agree that we should have won at least two of those five games, if not more? Three of the five were at home.

Crazy we don't have a double-bye with Brownlee's best team in 14 years.

Brad Brownell: Only Larry freaking Shyatt has a WORSE overall winning percentage among Clemson basketball coaches since 1975. Let that sink in. It's Larry Shyatt & then Brad Brownell.

And that type of thing largely defines CBB's tenure at Clemson.***

Instead of complaining about what you don't have, appreciate what you do have. Instead of complaining about other people, think about something good about them. Instead of complaining about problems, look for solutions. Focus on the positive and help overcome negativity.

Something good like Clemson basketball lacks the “potential” to ever win a championship. You are completely FOS.

It was what I was thinking. 20 wins is a good season. But you want the potential for more. And we constantly stubbed our toes after looking like we were ready for a later season run. Thats kills you . . and most definitely comes back on coaching.

This season the team traded in Q4 non conference losses from last season for Q3-ish conference losses. I guess that’s an improvement because the team will make the NCAAT. Still I think it’s underachieving for the talent on this team, but arguments can be made for how injuries hampered the team. I don’t buy Hemenway and Leyte as they would be very minor contributors, but a healthy Clark definitely improved the team on the defensive side with occasional help on offense.

But we won at UNC...that counts for at least 3 wins, right? ***
