Naïve and not smart on the part of stoops, if I was a thin skinned snowflake I would take this as an insult, but the bottom line is it’s pretty ironic cuz Kentucky is much more of an calibre ACC team.

FSU won last year too.
Maybe the 21-point burst that came out of nowhere was due to the better team wearing down the other team. That's something that SEC teams used to do to other conference's.
Hey, I'm just an observer. But you were the one that said LSU would be the ACC's top team, despite the ACC's top team beating down LSU and winning going away. Now you're saying it'd be a toss-up. Guess we'll just have to rely on the fact that FSU beat LSU by 21 points this year, went undefeated including winning in the Swamp with a backup QB and winning the ACC Championship with a 3rd stringer.
LSU went 2-2 on the road with a Heisman QB and allowed 5 TDs to Florida at home. FSU gave up 1 TD to Florida.
You saying "LSU would be the ACC's top team" is based on nothing factual at all.

FSU beat LSU twice and I dis agree LSU would run the table as easily as you think.
ACC had a winning record vs the SEC and Georgia did not overly impress against GT.

LSU couldn't have run the table in the D2 with the defense they put on the field this season. It was one of the worst defenses I have seen in years. It reminded of some of the Big 12 and Pac 12 defenses of the early 2000s. I think Ole Miss would have scored LESS if LSU had pulled the defense off the field.

Now that college football's primary, perhaps only purpose is officially as a revenue generating business that serves as a semi-pro league for the NFL, the collegiate, academic related aspect is dead for the most part. Players who are students first, just like you were at your alma mater, and share that experience and connection with the fan base and the community, is openly and indifferently done. Sure most or many of the players will still be actual students, but that aspect will have less and less influence over the decisions that guide the sport and the direction in which it moves. We'll wind up with an NFL minor league franchise which uses the facillities of your university.

the only time the ACC has beat a top SEC team . it's been Clemson doing it
i liked the old ACC pre Miami VT expansion. i have always disliked the new ACC
there is zero southern tradition
all of our NIL and recruiting "issues" would be fixed if we were SEC.
i just don't understand why holding onto a conference that is nothing like it use to be and is not southern is worth it

I want Clemson to win in every sport we play. I was proud and excited to watch the soccer team bring home a natty. Also enjoyed watching, baseball, softball, and lacrosse. But hey you let us know which sports are important enough for us to care about so we don’t make foolish mistakes in the future and support lesser teams.

FSU got left out because Bama is a much better team.
FSU did not get left out because they are in the ACC.
Bama did not get in because they are in the SEC.
There was no conspiracy and it had nothing to do with TV dollars.
With or without Jordan Travis FSU has been overrated since the summer and reality finally caught up with them.
