One thought is we know Clemson is wanting to leave as soon as we get an offer and can work out the deets. We know the what but not the when. No one else knows the when, not even Neff as some of the things (like an offer) are outside of his control. So why not tune out the noise until we get something concrete from a source we trust like Mr. Hood? Your life will be better the effort.

Cost too much to leave. No way around it. Our commish should have worked hard to come up with some innovative way to get Notre Dame to come rather than the ridiculous acquisition of the three westerners.

I predict we will leave for the SEC along with Florida State, Miami, and UNC... BIG10 will take best of the rest (Duke, Syracuse, BC, UVA... maybe Wake. Leftovers will end up in BIG 12 or an eastern version of the MWC...

Tell you what, if some teams leave the conference those that remain are going to become mega wealthy. With SMU paying the entry fee and those leaving paying a couple of hundred million each those remaining are going to be flying first class when they play Cal and Stanford.
