I don’t think he had that much money, he was a dumb ### that spent the family’s money over the years and had no idea how to turn money into mo money.
It’s still horribly shocking to think that he shot his son and his wife. Absolutely horrible. Special place downstairs for him.

I watched 90% of the trial and there is way too much evidence that he indeed did it. Like Pgraven said, the late entry of the OnStar GPS data was the "nail in the coffin" along with the kennel video confirming his time/location exposing his lies.

its not hard to shoot one gun and sit that gun down and pick up another gun. Alec has never given his theory as to how his family were shot in cold blood. Alec has never tried to find the real killer even though his family runs legal justice system in that county for over 100 years. Alec only lied that he was not at the kennels during the time of the murder, that he was sleeping on a couch. Alec was there and he shot them. end of story. He would do anything to cover his money laundering and cover his lies.

"Man's Best Friend", that dog that Murdaugh was telling to get down on the recording, certainly wasn't his friend THAT night. Had that dog not been there, he probably would have gotten away with murder.

He is a cringey creep. As a female I find him and his high pitched voice unattractive. I’m a lifelong SC resident except for one year living in Charlotte when I moved to this area. I have never heard of the Murdaugh family until right before Maggie and Paw Paw were murdered. When you watch all these shows on TV about the murders, theft etc they make it sound like they are extremely well known in SC. Maybe in the lower part of SC that I know very little about but not so much in the upper state where I grew up and live now

I wouldn't say extremely well known. I have traveled through his counties for the last 20 years. Never heard his name but then again I never got arrested either. Did get a speeding ticket in one though. I suspect his low profile is part of what him get away with his gamecock greedy scam for so long.
