If Mafah doesn't score on the last TD, what would you have called next

Dabo told us in the presser what he would have done which is he would have called a pass since we didn't have anymore time outs. I'm so glad it didn't come to that because I'm not sure I'd trust Cade to throw it away if the play was not there. Personally, I would have ran Mafah twice and lived with the result. They didn't stop us in short yardage all game.

Completely agree with running mafah again…even a tush push with Davis and XT as the rear driving force is a thought.

I would've called the play we ran to win the 2016 National championship and instead of DW4 to Renfrow, it would've been CK2 to Brown

We had one timeout left when Mafah took it in for a score.
Wouldn't have mattered to me tho because I would've went right back and handed the ball off again to the 230lb monster because they weren't going to stop the battering ram.

OK, Mafah doesn’t score. Final TO.
Then, run Mafah again. He doesn’t score this time either, no TO’s remaining, and 17 seconds on the clock ticking away.
Then, hurry up to the line and spike the ball.
Then there would have been one final play on 4th down. Run Mafah again and either live or die with the result.

My thought at the time was to run Mafah twice. I was surprised the announcers were adamant that we would be passing. I'm so glad we ran it.

With 17 seconds on the clock and assuming from the 1 or 2 yard line, would have called a pass play before going back to Mafah for the run. I don’t think there would have been time for 2 runs. KY would have been laying all over people after the first try.

Exactly. Why it was so frustrating when we passed 3 straight downs at first and goal on the 6.

If Mafah didn't get in, I'm going 2 TE SET to either Brinny or Sapp. The 2 pt conversion play would have been a great next call.
Sapp has shown that he's dependable in the end zone. He's made a couple of really nice plays in his short time.
