FSU could be out of the playoff picture that weekend with a loss to LSU in their opener and a loss to us that weekend.

Good move for the ACC home office big wigs since it's what the SEC does all the time to protect their two best teams (scheduling)!

LSU and Bama play on the first weekend in November, and have for years. Of course, Bama-Auburn is the final game of the season. Tennessee and UGA played in November the past 2 years. Florida-Georgia is generally the last weekend in Oct. Georgia-Auburn used to he mid-November until the past couple years it moved to mid-Oct. The SEC does not do it "all the time." What the SEC generally does is schedule a cupcake game in November. But they have some premiere matchups in the middle-to-later part of the season.

Are they opening with LSU next year? Guessing that was a home and home series and this year it'll be in Doak? If so, I'd say they beat LSU at home, which is fine, will simply make our win against them even better and shut up all the blabber about them now being top dog in the ACC - after having done nothing yet to show that. Just pundits and talking heads trying to make money.

Orlando. FSU's WRs, OL, and defense still have a ways to go

before they get back to being elite. Their defense gave up 32 points to a bad OU team and 38 to a 500 Florida team.
