Are FOS. They don’t join unless invited. Other than Nebraska, all BIG teams are AAU. Neither Free Shoes nor Clemson qualify academically. Much like we look down at WV and Cincinnati.

What makes you so certain they want us and not unc which already is accredited. That's the speculation I heard anyway.
I also heard they were happy with where they're at and haven't sent anyone an invite. Have you any links to what ur claiming. Thanks.

I'll have to find the video again. I could mixed up with the B1G and sec. But the premise was the recruiting footprint. It mattered not what the ratings were or how good the school was in football.
Essentially, it boiled down to that if the acc imploded, then xyz may happen. A lot centered on the big 12 further expanding in order to get a bigger payday for each school.
It was rather informative and it made sense. It was likened to musical chairs and how Clemson may end up not having a chair. It's way more than just being a good football team. It was how much value each school would bring and unfortunately, Clemson really doesn't fit that bill. Fla st does.

Supposedly FSU “just missed” getting AAU status. Nothing about us. I guess a new gymnastics team doesn’t help.we need a good WOKE department.

“Recruiting footprint” has nothing to do with anything. It’s all about putting eyes on the TV. If you’re a known team, you go into NC all you want. Recruiting footprint is meaningless and doesn’t make more people watch you on TV. Having a conference team that nobody cares to watch does nothing.
Notre Dame, Clemson, and FSU are the 3 most coveted conference expansion teams. By far.

Big 10 has many AAU schools, so academics are a factor. But TV ratings draw is a big factor. So SEC and Big 10 may not see Clemson as a big TV draw.

I’m just saying AAU doesn’t matter at this point, the networks are calling the shots.

WVU is required to accept anyone that graduates from a WV high school. 90% overall acceptance rate–

The AAU is not an accrediting agency. It is an ASSOCIATION of institutions (think club) that are like minded and similarly focused. Each member institution must be a research university as qualified by a percentage of budget/grants devoted to research and percentage of faculty/staff involved in research.
And it should be noted that the AAU is in no way an organization interested in athletics. In fact, in some aspects the AAU could be considered anti-athletic in its policies concerning budgetary resources.
But the B1G has used membership in AAU as ONE of its considerations for inclusion.

Leave the real Nordberg out of it. He is a stone cold killer who literally got away with murder.
