WR. If he does his job the ball was where it should have been. Oh well, that's de Foosball!

The WR should have kept running.

UNC was beat. WR was wide open.

Receiver put himself in bad position w/ way he ran route & Chase put too much on it

Looked like that feeling when you realized you jumped 2 steps too early for the game winning layup.

I'd say more on Brice. I think the throw should've been along the goaline and not in the endzone

Receiver.

kinda both, a little high but the receiver rotated his body mid-stride and didn't really need to.

Yep, orient his body upfield or to the right, not running backwards.

It was on the wr. He changed his route to backpedal when he saw himself open. If he had continued his route he would have run into the ball.

Some of both. More on Brice.
Similar to the Hunter R. play.

If the WR kept running toward the sideline...

Sep 3, 2022, 4:45 PM

the ball still would have been over his head. It would have also been behind him.

I like Chase and will never forget what he did for us, but he completely choked on that throw. NOBODY would have caught that ball.

It happens. He'll move forward and have a great season.

The consensus seems to be receiver to blame. I think Chase could have made a better throw, given how wide open the receiver was. No need to make the receiver run the full route when a lob ball would have worked. So I think the blame is shared.
