FSU is going to be staggering after two head shots (snub, NCAA violations) and a gut punch (Norvel is gone).
Why wouldn’t Norvel take the job?
It will be a raise
Massively deep pockets for portals and high schoolers
No conference uncertainty to explain while recruiting
He hasn’t been at FSU very long
More money
Only 2 downsides I see are:
Apparently Saban is still going to be around
Living up to Saban’s success will be tough

Hard for me to understand the Norvell hype.
If we didn't get ulra-conservative on our last drive in regulation, or if we had a stable kicking situation, Clemson beats FSU this year.
Of all the losses this year, that one hurt the most.
