getting on Tigernet these past few days. We're right in our championship wheelhouse from an overall rankings standpoint, it's chock full of dudes and talent addressing all positions, and we know without question that every single one of these kids really wants to play here and be part of the Clemson program and family. Instead, it's largely a bunch of sniping at coaches, dissing on many of our later takes, and frothing over a butthurt old man and former player who has gone off the deep end and seemingly can't stop himself in any longer.
Seriously, we just welcomed a big batch of young and future Clemson men, who 'need no introduction'. And this is the best we can do here? How about a little less of the know-it-all ranting, and a little more showing all of these new cats the love that they have earned and deserve with their commitments, befitting of the Clemson men and women that most of us are.
Go Tigers! Go Class of 2024!

he can do a deep kickoff but that is about it. Very very disappointed in him and in the coaches thinking he was the answer in fall camp. Epic gaffe for them on that

Love the new Tiger class. Some on Tiger Net would gripe if the class included ALL 5* number 1s players @ their positions. They just like o biotch! Go Tigers!

the doctor's office just now. Coot Central, 107.5, because CLEMSON DOESN'T HAVE A SPORTS TALK RADIO STATION, around here. They were talking all about how Clemson missed on all the major talent in the state of South Carolina this year, and that our class was "only" Top 15, as opposed to Top 5, like in the past. Their supposition is that we are now back to having 8-9 wins a year as our ceiling, as was thought to be the case in the Tommy Bowden era.
To which I say, Bull Butter. THIS year was as low as it gets, and was a Perfect Storm bad luck and self inflicted wound circus anomaly. We are headed back UP now, not DOWN. That crap is almost as ridiculous as TOOOOOOODDDD's "Cycling OUT" comments were a few years ago. How did that work out for both schools, again?

Generally it is weak and that was the case this past period save for the 2 blue chip true offensive tackles with offers from everywhere in the US. But their great uncle, twice removed was seen wearing a gamecocks ball cap back in 1990, so we had no shot–

Best thing about this class is we recruited very well where we have needs. Didn’t just go after the top 25 recruits we could get but it looks like we strategically filled holes.

I was hoping we could keep mining Central of Phenix City AL and get Cam Coleman but looking at the HUDL for Wesco and Moore we have not picked up anything like them the last 3-4 years at WR. Sprinkle in a new coaching approach at OL and we might have an offense capable of carrying a game again. Maybe next year but for sure in two years. The rest of the signings are pretty stout too.

Early signing period takes away from the excitement, the surprise flip, and the surprise commit, but overall I agree with everything you said except technically they are Clemson class of 2028. Go Tigers now lets go win the Gator Bowl and next up the puppies of jawjaw.

…I LOVE that we have what appears to be GREAT Clemson men and players…
HOWEVER, the PREEMINENT question for every single player is this: HOW LONG WILL THEY BE HERE?
Will they last 1 year? Will they last past the spring game when the transfer portal opens again? I’m serious! You just don’t know WHEN they’re are leaving.
And if they leave AFTER 1 year, the amount of playing time we get to see them will most likely be limited.
I believe that MANY Clemson fans regarding who has signed have a “wait and see” attitude when these guys ACTUALLY suit up for Clemson Tigers and may actually stay for more than 1 year.
Remember, the BETTER and MORE SUCCESSFUL impact that a freshman has during his first year INCREASES the chances that the player will be “tampered” with and PAID to leave Clemson for a higher salary. How in the world can you get excited about that when your own fan loyalty to the player is rewarded with a “BIGGER BETTER DEAL” at a rival university football team?
Bottom line is, this is the state of the game today.

I think it's a very solid class. I also think few of them will be here three, much less four, years from now. Harder to get excited about recruits now that they are unlikely to be here long enough to get attached to them. Obviously some will and that's great but the days of being exuberant over anybody signing with us are over for me, and probably many others, unfortunately since it no longer means what it once did.

Sadly, the board is filled with Portal Princesses. No pickups in the portal mean the end of the program being successful in their eyes.
I personally think the portal will be used less and less by contending teams. The amount of money being asked for by recruits and thrown around by desperate teams is simply unsustainable. Too many good high school players are being left out of the mix. A successful program can be set by focusing on the high school kid, developing them then showing them the money.

Everyone that we have gotten the past few years is not a “bust”. We have serious development issues. We don’t get anywhere near what the top 5 are getting but our players should not be getting bullied over by the Dukes and WFs of the world.
