It’s overwhelmingly obvious the offense moves forward when he’s on the field. When he’s off it stalls.

You can disagree all you want but there’s no denying our running game looks a lot better with him in there … again ship needs Carries and to be used in ways we don’t use mafah but you are biased or one of ships buds if you can sit there and say mafah isn’t a better pure running back… ship needs touches but at one point he had 7 touches to mafahs 2, that’s should be the other way around.

Than 2nd and 7 or 8. Mafah consistently gets more out of the same plays than Ship. Ship does bring a little more versatility, but Mafah is better as a pure runner for sure.

We run ship ip the middle a lot and he will rarely bounce it outside if there is nothing there. He just runs to that gap anyway and either gets stopped at the LOS or runs into the back of his Oline and gets a one yard gain or no gain.

But, why oh why do we continue to see the other option? Loyalty? NIL? WS has appeared oddly slower w/ less shake this season. And Mafah is a freakin' TRUCK of a man and has patience and explosion. Puzzling.
