I'm glad we won but we could have gotten a penalty on that play. He was clearly getting pulled over the line.

NCAA Rule 9-3-2 says no teammate of the ball carrier "shall grasp, pull, or lift him to assist him in forward progress". So you can push him or the pile.

There were Kentucky fans sitting next to me in the endzone who called for a penalty immediately on that.

Great no call - I told them.

The officials didn't call a penalty on the Stellato defenseless receiver - so I viewed it as a makeup call.

Should have reminded them of the offensive pass interference earlier when the receiver knocked our DB down to the ground.

Yep. That's part of the game; finding out how the officials are calling things "that day".

This crew let a lot of stuff go. They let the players decide it on the field.

I never saw it called to the point that refs now don't blow the whistle and allow players to assist the runner until his forward progress is stopped. I felt like we didn't do enough of that this year. I would expect Luke to spend some time improving on that before next year.
