Committee

Oct 27, 2014, 6:59 AM

Did anyone see the halftime with Clemson AD? The espin guys were pushing the sec like usual but Rad stated there was a lot of criteria that the committee would use, one being conf champions. I really hope this committee is sick of the bias by espin like me but we will see. The first poll should be Fl st, miss st, oregon and mich st. Except for miss st I believe the others win their conference. Go Tigers.

MSU has a loss.

I'd expect the top four to be undefeated at this point. This is just a starting place a foundation which is formed by the previously played games.

I thought there were only two undefeated in the 5 big conferences but agree that this week is just a starting point based on what Rad stated. I just would like to see them show espin that they can not be influenced. If they would pick just one esecpn team then maybe I could watch the games without the sound turned off.

No, they are undefeated.

Miss St and FSU are the only two locks at this point. The other 2 teams will be interesting. Oregon, Mich St, Auburn, and Bama should all be players. Ole Miss is probably still in the mix if they can beat Miss St at the end of the year. TCU might be in the discussion, but it's hard to take the Big XII seriously with the pathetic defense out there.

That is what I thought, only two teams undefeated at this time. Why is ala ahead of ole miss? ole miss won the head to head battle. I thought this was going to be a playoff and ala has lost to ole miss. Also if you use chicken logic samford killed furman, furman played sc better, sc played auburn close therefore samford would beat auburn. If gurley is back, ga is going to win the esecp, then what? sc beat ga, man this is getting compicated. I guess good thing I'm not a chicken.
Go Tigers

Just from watching the teams play i feel that Bama is

Oct 27, 2014, 8:59 AM

better. They did lose at Ole Miss, but i put less stock in head to head wins than a lot of people, especially when the home team wins a close game. IMO ND is a better team than FSU and Bama is better than Ole Miss. Ole Miss is probably better than LSU.

I think Bama is just getting better as the season goes on and i wouldn't be surprised if they beat Miss St and Auburn. I think at that point though they would need help from Miss St beating Ole Miss or else they would lose the tie-breaker.

Speaking of Auburn, i wouldn't be shocked if they finish with 3 SEC losses. @Ole Miss, @UGA, and @Bama is a brutal finish. I really don't expect them to be a major player in the division by the end. Malzahn is a great coach though, so maybe dangerous to count them out.
