1. The offensive line is horrible. Dabo says we have 10 he can win with so why do we have Leigh and Parks even in there?

2. Still running up the middle almost every first down like last year, along with a bunch of blown up WR screens and out passes. 7 Offensive possessions, 7 points. Let that sink in.

Maybe this wasn't a Streeter problem. Looks like it was a Dabo play calling problem.

FWIW this Duke front 7 ain't the old Duke teams we're accustomed to -- they got some dudes on D.

Elko just did a masterful job in the first half of flustering the offense.

Zero push from the offensive line. Especially the middle of the line.

The reason we don’t get push is because we block to create a crack or sliver instead of moving dudes out of the way. I would say that Duke defense has better athletes at every position than we do on offense.

total points after a 18 yard drive following a fumble. Still no difference maker WRs. 3 of the 4 2023 WR signees did not make the trip. Unbelievable that we have a 1 point lead, but I will take it.

My thoughts:
On. A positive note, Klubnik is staying in and stepping up in the pocket instead of bailing out like in the OB so that’s an improvement

WR blocking is still not good

Still not a huge fan of the “bend don’t break Defense but it’s working.

OL not as impressive as I’d hoped

I expected O to sputter a little for the first couple of games so just win this one and we have time to fix stuff and improve
