Seems so stupid for kids that will only stay a year. Does not make me any difference though because I do not have it to give like that.

Well worth the investment if they win it all next year

Day's done at OSU if he doesn't at least beat Michigan and make it to the final 4, so it's now or never.

Let that sink in. Day with his record could be let go. That’s sad but the truth in reality.

If they have spent $13 million at this point and he doesn't beat Michigan, he probably should be gone. OSU hasn't beaten Michigan in 1513 days. This will be Day's last season as coach if he doesn't win this season.

Yep, they do NOT like or accept losing to "That School Up North". Woody Hayes

went even further, just referring to Michigan as TSUN instead of saying the whole "That School Up North" each time. Seems like it would have just been simpler to say Meechigan.

3 years ago Harbaugh saw that he had to beat Ohio State. He went all in and brought Conor Stallions in and set up an elaborate program to steal signs. It worked. It culminated with a national championship this year.

Now, the shoe is on the other foot. Day realizes he has to beat Michigan. He has chosen a different route. It remains to be seen if he is successful.

One could say both coaches acted out of desperation.

The difference is, one acted within the rules. One overtly cheated.

It’s legal. Why do people act like they’re breaking NCAA rules? They aren’t buying a whole team like the filthy semenholes. Day is feeling the heat after losing to Michigan what 3 in a row, and Michigan winning a title.

I wish Dabo had a little more motivation to improve his roster. But why should he? He has fans convinced that it’s all about integrity and not winning. He’s got y’all all wrapped around his finger.

The numbers thrown out that some of these universities are paying players is so far out of the realm Clemson could compete with it's ridiculous

Dabo isn't in a bidding war for portal players because every dime we have has mostly gone to keep the players already on the team.

Unless some of you guys are millionaires and want to donate to the cause , Dabo is playing the only hand he's got and it's to recruit out of highschool and develop them then pray they stay loyal

Day better win it all, not lose to UM, because they just set a precedent of what future Portalers will want. Boosters won't pay that losing to UM

The money is bad enough but how is it that these teams can go buy a dozen free agents. We are always told we are full but folks like them and others sign or purchase 40 people per year. I assume they withdraw scholarships and we just never hear about it.

Pay a kid a million bucks and you don’t need scholarships. He can pay tuition. Not having scholarships is only an excuse used quite often on this messsage board.

Between Seniors,Early Draftees and Portal entrants, OSU are having to replace 35 to 40 of their 85.

It may be more, but I didn't take time to fully check for overlap Between the 27 Seniors and the 19 portalers. That's 46 but some still have COVID year and hit the Portal. Then there's the 6 that declared for the draft ,bringing that possible total to 52

WHILE Clemson only had to replace 22 Scholarship players

They have plenty of open scholarships for elite portal players.

I read that OSU signed (7) 5 star players out of the portal and have spent $13 million. I could be wrong, but I believe that is what it said.
