Sounds like the only position we are looking at is Oline. Our #1 prospect already committed to Penn State and we couldnt even get him on campus. I just really dont get it.

Really not hard to get. The kid had no interest in Clemson. We can’t get everyone we want. Nobody does.

This is true but we cant even get guys on campus. We just seem one step behind when it comes to the portal.

But we really do not target or get many portal transfers. Yet, we have people leaving Clemson.

Our #1 prospect is Keylan Rutledge, he hasn't committed anywhere yet. He was scheduled for a visit this past weekend, but was involved in an accident and has rescheduled. He's still available and Clemson is still an option for him. We'll know more in the next few days.

He has spent more time at GT. We need to be aggressive in this portal 30 day window. I just expected a couple of transfers to come. Desire and money have to be there?

That’s the thing. Our talent on paper is there on the OL. We’ll see if Luke can now extract it. I actually think we’ll see dramatic improvement both because of experience to date and the addition of an experienced coach.

I think we have a couple coming in this signing class but they will be freshmen and not experienced yet at the college level.

PSU lost 4 of their 5 starting OL. Chance for more immediate PT may have been a factor.

We don't get most of the guys we recruit either. No idea why people think us saying we are interested in someone means we are gonna get them.

It was already worked out before he hit the portal. I have been trying to tell all you portal people that is why most of these guys enter the portal.

Dont know for fact but I am not sure he was our #1 but just the first offer. Sounds like we are higher on the MTSU guy, "tough as nails guy" that was coached by Stockstill. But Luke also offered an UGA OL guy. Sounds like we would take up to 2 guys that suit Luke.

Not everyone in the portal is desirable. Just like not all women are beauty queens that everyone wants, some are fugly and readily available to everyone
